It has been said that some of the finest, most memorable works in fashion, design, theater, and music came as a result of a dedicated alliance between two diverse talents who shared a singular passion: To combine their expertise and introduce a work so extraordinary it would live on to become a revered classic. A few examples of revolutionary joint efforts include, Dolce & Gabbana, Rolls & Royce, Gilbert & Sullivan, and Lennon & McCartney. Recognizing the significance of partnering on certain pieces in his wearable art collection, John Kennedy chose to work with a select group of celebrated craftsmen through the years. Today, prominent on John Kennedy’s list of esteemed collaborators are world-renown artist & studio glass sculptor, Tom Patti and internationally awarded French Artiste-Metalsmith, Jean Huffenus of Jean Design, whose collaborative artistry is featured here.
